PONTIAC 400 SHORT BLOCK STROKED OUT TO 468 CI !!

We started out with a 400 pontiac block, thermal cleaned and magnafluxed it, line honed the mains, bore and honed .060 over, square deck for better gasket sealing , final wash and install new cam brgs, freeze plugs, and oil plugs

Next we install an EAGLE rotating assembly wich will contain the following



Eagle 400 4.25 stroke cast steel crankshaft. (INTERNAL BALANCE CRANK!)
New 6.8": Eagle H-beam 4340 steel Bushed rods with 7/16 ARP CAP bolts
New J&E SRP forged Flat top 10:1 with a 87cc head, or 12:1 with a 72cc head,
Premium Plasma Moly file fit Rings
Clevite RACE Main & Rod bearings
This kit is good up to 700+hp!
INTERNALLY BALANCED
After you purchase this we will discuss how you are going to be driving so we can determine what clearances we are going to set the motor up with, after said discussion we will then file fit the rings accordingly and set all bearing clearances. You will then have a strong foundation to build upon. If after you purchase and want us to complete the motor, we can help you do it right the first time.
