Other information not noted above.
We used an 850 Holley carb and a dual point accel distributor in this
motor. All components are match made and proved to be reliable pass
after pass. We shifted the motor @ 6800 and crossed the traps @7000 rpm.
This combination has never been hurt, very low maintenance motor. We
used VP RED fuel in this motor, and could be a candidate for ethanol!
This engine went 11.20’s @118mph in the heat @G.B. with a 3200lb car
and 5.14 gears. The engine ran well the day we pulled it, yet we needed
more power. It might be a good idea to the buyer to re-freshen with
rings, bearings, and valve springs. This engine has had the springs
backed off, oil shot into the cylinders. The engine, transmission, and
converter are still together as 1 complete unit, and have been stored
safely and securely in our shop. PRICE IS $4000.00 firm for all the
components listed. Take the guesswork out of figuring out a combo and

On above engine the buyer will also have the choice of additional roller cam,lifters and springs. Camshaft would be .722 lift ,duration somewhere around 282 @ .050. These are extra parts that we will provide for this engine purchase.
