Custom 500-shot NITROUS 434 Chevy Shortblock

BRAND NEW COMBINATION FROM DYNO-FLO RACING ENGINES

Extreme Chevy drag-race 434 set up to take 500hp of nitrous, sort of. Every piston manufacturer says that 500 hp of squeeze is not feasible in the design of a 434" piston 1.00" compression distance. There is too little space to make the part strong enough to take the loads. Sure the normal 3cc dome JE pistons we have scores of racers running 250+hp of well tuned n2o no problem. These pistons are engineered as the most extreme piston capable within the confines of the 434" envelope. The result is a vastly stronger piston and ring combo to endure the rigors of a higher hp load within the std 9.025" deck package. This lowers costs and issues with fitting the taller more expensive engine into the vehicle. Yes, we have upgrades on rods and cranks available for an extra charge, but if you want a down and dirty priced strong as a horse shortblock this one gets the job done. Basically, yes we have people who get away w/ 500hp of n2o on this shortblock, but it just can't be advertised like that, since none of the parts manufacturers want to be blamed for any failures that would result from improper usage or tuning, or the fact that when you run that much juice...shizit happens.



This shortblock starts with a custom set of JE pistons, designed for Dyno-Flo, redesigned and strengthened to accept a massive dose of n2o in a 434 setup.

Then throw in:
-a Dart Lil M block (part #31152211)
-a Eagle 4340 Forged crank (part #440040006000)
-Eagle 4340 Forged H-beam rods, stroker clearanced, and upgraded to the ARP2000 rod bolts (part #CRS6000BST20)
-Total Seal custiom ring set w/ trick ring widths and depths and their TNT material for longevity.
-King Alecular Race rod bearings (part #CR 848HP STDX)
-King Alecular Race main bearings (part #MB 5143HP STDX)

The rotating assembly is balanced in-house on our computer-controlled Hines balancer.

The block is machined in Dyno-Flo's own RMC V-40 CNC machining center.

Then the shortblock is hand pieced together by a Dyno-Flo technician, and double checked to assure the highest quality.
